Work experience
Postdoctoral Researcher
July 2014 - present
Postdoctoral researcher at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) and the Montana State University (Montana, USA). I am currently investigating the multiple global changes affecting the Earth’s biogeochemical cycles and ecosystems, driven largely by human activities (alterations to climate, nutrient cycles and biodiversity, global intensification of agriculture) to understand how trophic interactions affect community dynamics and ecosystem functioning in aquatic ecosystems.
Specialist Researcher
May 2012 - December 2013
Participation in the REFRESH project: Adaptive strategies to Mitigate the impacts of climate change on European Freshwater Ecosystems (R+D+I project funded in the competitive call EU, FP7). Agreement nº. 244121
Biologist
2004-2012
I worked on many projects, mostly related to the Water Framework Directive (WFD). All these projects were funded by R+D+I non-competitive contracts and grants with administrations or public or private bodies as well as in competitive calls by public or private bodies.
